KINETRY

Changelog

What shipped, when — written after it's live, never before. Kinetry is built by one person shipping continuously; this page is the receipt.

The competitive landscape

  • Published How Kinetry compares (kinetry.ai/vs): Kinetry against 23 performance, engagement, assessment, and coaching products, feature by feature, researched by us from each vendor's public documentation in July 2026.

Trust surface and churn honesty

  • Published the subprocessor list, a reliability page with our July 17 outage postmortem, and a vulnerability-disclosure channel (security.txt).
  • Canceling now collects a reason, and a churned workspace gets a plain note that its entire score history is kept and returns on re-upgrade — for voluntary cancels and failed payments alike.
  • Behind the scenes: written security policies, a verified database-restore drill, dependency scanning in CI, and an external uptime probe.

Participant consent, navigation fixes, and one outage

  • Every rated participant now sees a plain-language consent screen before anything is collected about them, with a real decline path — plus consent checkpoints at survey start and in advisor-run workspaces.
  • Fixed a family of misdirecting links, including one that sent prospects from the demo into the wrong dashboard instead of signup.
  • We had an outage after a deploy — intermittent failures until we reverted, with service restored about 80 seconds after the revert decision. The full postmortem is public on the reliability page.

Multi-client advisor workspaces

  • Consultants who run several client workspaces got a workspace switcher and a complete create-a-client flow.
  • A round of advisor-reported fixes: terms re-acceptance bug, honest people-pickers, clearer roles in navigation.

Results day, honest ratings, and the trust pages

  • Results day: personal score emails with reveal bands, a team summary for the workspace leader, and shareable badge cards.
  • The Cycle Impact Report gained public share links and consultant co-branding.
  • Rating honesty family: raters can mark a behavior 'not observed' (it never counts as a zero), speed and straight-line patterns get a gentle nudge, and a review-by-behavior step catches accidental extremes.
  • Published the security, behaviors, and about pages; reminders for incomplete raters and one-click bulk invites.

Your data, exportable and erasable

  • Self-serve JSON export for a whole workspace or a single person, and permanent erasure with an audit ledger — including the anti-unmasking rule that freezes published cycles so deletions can't reveal who said what.

Signup, invites, and people setup

  • Verified-email signup, teammate invites, and a first-login orientation per role.
  • People setup overhauled: an import-first wizard, live setup checklist, editable org units, and a CSV template.
  • Billing verified end-to-end (built July 8; running in test mode until launch).

Monthly-first pricing

  • Finalized the pricing model after a deep market study: billed per rated person, raters always free, true monthly billing with no annual contract required.

Kinetry launches at kinetry.ai

  • The team behavior instrument goes live: 24 behaviors scored monthly per named person, 360 multi-rater or single-advisor mode, the Team Relationship Map, coaching commitments with follow-through tracking, and a read-only demo that needs no signup.

See it all working in the live demo — read-only, no signup. Reliability history, including postmortems, lives on Reliability.
